Our Story
A labor of love
Our journey began with a dream Regina envisioned in 2020—to transform our long-term rental apartments into warm, welcoming spaces where guests could truly feel at home. What started with just two units quickly grew into three, and along the way, we discovered our profound, shared passion for hospitality.
But our story didn’t stop at the shoreline. As we nurtured our growing accommodation business, the beautiful Bahamian waters called to us. With over ten years of maritime experience under George’s belt, we expanded our vision over the last three years to include Cozy Waters Charters. Today, we offer customized boat charters alongside our stays, giving our guests the chance to explore the islands in a truly unique and intimate way.

Whether George is co-captaining your charter, snorkeling alongside your family, or acting as your personal photographer, or Regina is ensuring your stay at GS Getaway is spotless, they ensure every guest leaves with lifelong memories.

Known for his warm greetings, infectious energy, and expert navigation, Captain Devonte is a favorite among our guests. He is always ready to bait your hooks, take the fish off the line, and even let you get behind the wheel for a thrilling ride.
